Introduction to Our Monetization Platform
Netcipia's objective is to help you build your online expert business and help you monetize your expertise using a platform specifically developed for this purpose. You start by building your own online community, which can include your current customers, partners, students, colleagues, or any other group of people to whom you can provide a special expertise that people may be willing to pay for. This is done through the creation of special mini-sites, which we call "places" in Netcipia's jargon. These places, can be as tiny as a simple web page, or as complex as a full blown web site. The principle behind our monetization platform is to allow you or your partners to control the access rights to these places, based upon the expert service the member has previously purchased. Our platform provides you with a flexible approach including the choice of several revenue models.
Who Should Use Netcipia's Monetization Platform?
In general, the premium content can be anything of value to any member of your online community. It can be your own expertise. For example, you can provide online help to someone on a particular project via a personal blog. It could be knowledge sharing via a report. Or it could be know-how sharing via an educational video, or a combination of all of these. In a nutshell, it can be any type of digital content that your audience perceives as valuable. The creators of content can include yourself, or even members of your community. They can be professionals like consultants, university professors, lawyers, teachers, architects, developers, professional dancers, cooking chefs, etc. They can also be amateurs with special know-how, like gardeners, artists, collectors, handymans and so on. You, or your contributing members simply need to have the desire to monetize a particular area of expertise. We currently provide three monetization models, thus giving you the flexibility to adapt your growing online business to the needs of your online community:
- Time-based membership via a weekly, monthly or annual subscription to a particular place
- Special paying access to specific pages of the place (similar to pay per document access)
- Limited time access to a place or to specific pages or spaces within the place
These revenue models can be combined to give you the most flexibility to organize and sell your content. For example, you can sell a generic subscription to a place for $50 per month, and then provide a special report attached to a particular page of the place which can only be access for a one time additional fee. Netcipia's philosophy is to make money with you, as your online business grows, and share in your success. So we provide all of this for free, and without the burden of Ads. Our model is to take a commission on the customer transactions when your customers pay you. That's it!
